The Future is Now: Why React Native is Revolutionizing Mobile App Development
Mobile app development is an ever-growing field within the context of today’s rapid developments in mobile app formats, with developers on a constant search for tools that afford great utility in terms of productivity, adaptability, and strength. React Native is a tool that has received much attention for mobile app development in the recent past. Thus, Bacancy Technology, a company that offers splendid solutions and is obsessed with quality, adopts React Native as a remarkable tool. That’s why React Native is ahead of all other frameworks in the way it is transforming mobile application development.
Exploring The React Native for Mobile App Development
React Native, an emerging framework owned by Facebook is a JavaScript framework based on React for building mobile applications. With the help of the framework, the developers can build native mobile applications for iOS and Android at the same time. It drastically decreases development time and costs with comparable performance and a native-like design.
Choosing React Native for Mobile App Development
Cross-Platform Compatibility
When using React Native for mobile app development, developers can write a single set of code that works for different operating systems, iOS and Android. The fact that it is cross-platform capable results in a more rapid and streamlined development process, and changes can be made across the platforms at once, resulting in less maintenance.
Hot Reloading
React Native Performs Hot Reloading. Hot Reloading is the advantage of utilizing React Native for mobile app development as a structure. It can help the developers automatically get the results of previous changes and can increase the work rate of developers. It helps in making the debugging process faster.
Strong Community Support
Because React Native is an open-source tool, the community is strong, which helps this community to have a rich collection of libraries and cog-wired already developed application components and tools.
Performance
React Native runs applications with an almost native performance using native modules and controls. It fills a gap between creating applications for web pages and creating applications for mobile devices and keeps them as fast and clean as applications created with native languages.
Pros and Cons
Pros
Cost-Effective: When the apps are for multiple platforms, it is mutual for several platforms. That results in effective coding and programming.
Faster Development: It also resulted in quick development because more codes are generated based on reusable over-share sources.
Rich Ecosystem: Many libraries and third-party plugins help complex tasks to reduce the complexity.
Active Community: Developers can expect support and enhancements because it has a strong community, and the framework is continuously improved.
Cons
Performance Limitations: But it is still low compared to the pure native apps in some aspects, like for some complex animations and heavy computation.
Limited Native Modules: As was stated above, the library for the native modules is not as strong as in the native development platforms. It is possible to code some of the native modules fresh from scratch.
Companies Leveraging React Native
Here are some corporations and business entities that have embraced the mobile application with the help of React Native for mobile app development, proof of the engulfing React Pro, and how it supports various business types. They are Facebook, Instagram, and Airbnb, among others, due to benefits like developers can develop the program for iOS and Android for efficiency. In the same way, Bacancy Technology also utilizes React Native for mobile app development to provide their clients with enhanced applications of the highest quality, which will prove to be efficient and, to a certain extent, comparatively cheap.
Conclusion
In point form, the following are the main benefits of using React Native for mobile app development: This has squarely placed it among the most valuable tools in the creation of many applications since it can aid in the reduction of the cost of application development and the manufacturing of superior performing applications, in the same way, React Native Developers at Bacancy Technology it has been used with clients to achieve Specific, Modern, and Mobile solutions. The statement that might interest me is the one that proclaims that the future of mobile app development is written with React Native at its helm already.

2️⃣Planetary Conjunction Observations - Mercury Edition2️⃣
Note: These are all my personal observations and patterns I've noticed over the years. Take what resonates with you more and leave the rest. Lemme know in the comments if it hits home!
Sun - Mercury conjunction natives speak boldly and hold their head high. They are well-mannered and won't tolerate anyone disrespectfully treating them. Can get support from father or uncle. Will be close to their sibling if they have any. A tight conjunction can point to identical twin siblings in some cases. Can become famous for their personality.
Moon - Mercury conjunction natives are flirty and know how to seduce their partner. These natives are conventionally pretty. If they have a sibling, they might not get along well with them or may have conflicts in their relationship. Can be good at science or fond of knowing about the universe. Some with this placement can become a scientific researcher. They can understand complex formulas or could be in search of finding the truth about aliens, the paranormal, death, or what lies beyond this 3D plane. Sometimes, they can get obsessed with certain thoughts and can be seen as weirdo. They can be hilarious to talk to. In some cases, it can point to neurological issues or mental health issues if afflicted.
Venus - Mercury conjunction natives are attractive, sweet, and are experts in dealing with finances. For men, they can become friends with women more than men, and for women, they can become friends with men more than their own kind. Has a natural ability in fashion designing, singing, dancing, or drama. Would be blessed with abundance and creativity. If it's in the 5th house, it can indicate giving birth to twins.
Mars - Mercury conjunction natives are straightforward and fast thinkers. Talk first, think later. In some cases, can have a raspy voice or issues regarding their speech if afflicted. Can be quite aggressive in nature and can be quick to react. In some cases, might face issues regarding their education or could even drop out, or could have been homeschooled or studied part-time. Can have issues with their sibling if they have any. Good placement to pursue medicine, architecture, the manufacturing industry, athletics, etc.
Jupiter-Mercury conjunction natives are educated and possess worldly knowledge. Jack of all trades. Can become friends with people "in the know," or they can be self-made. Has natural ability in filmmaking, photography, or culinary arts. Potential to win a lottery. Rags to riches. Would live a comfortable life after 25. Can speak more than one language. Spouse can be of a different nationality. Can be involved in animal rescues, planting trees, or in some form of volunteering for the underprivileged. Can be a collector of some kind.
Saturn-Mercury conjunction natives are reserved and can have a dry or dark humor sense. They are good at standing up for others rather than standing up for themselves. Can face a lot of maltreatment or discrimination at work or in society but would win over them later in life. Can become a motivational speaker or can write an autobiography. Can have conflicts with their father or male authorities.

A sketch about Price's neglected daughter!y/n, and the kidnapper! Konig.
The living room was flooded with soft light. There were three people sitting on the sofas covered with burgundy plaids. Price was the first to take the most comfortable seat, sitting in his masterly manner. Next to him sat his faithful friend and comrade, Joshua, and the third person sat on a separate small sofa, wrapped in a plaid blanket-it was Megan, Price's oldest daughter. On the terry mat in front of them sat a girl of about five, the youngest daughter, who was playing concentratedly with a doll. She didn't seem to hear or react to anyone else
The girl, sitting in a separate seat, answered Joshua's questions with the same pride: "Yes, when I grow up I'll be a doctor, a surgeon! Or a-- A lawyer!"
Her father's soft laughter reached the children's ears, and the youngest daughter raised her head as well. Unconsciously, she smiled hearing her father's laughter. Joshua smiled as well, carelessly leaving his arm on the back of the couch and looking in front of him, directly at the youngest. He grimaced.
"What do the investigators say? "Mr. Brix caught up with his companion in one of the corridors of the police station. Price was pale, his hair was dirty and greasy, and there were dark circles under his eyes from lack of sleep. John's eyes were cloudy and he was clearly out of it. Not immediately reacting, Price mumbled something inaudible. Joshua stopped and tugged on his friend's shoulder to stop him. Josh's words sounded like warm encouragement, and his voice was confident: "We'll find her, buddy." Price only nodded in response.
But time only goes by. A day goes by, two days, a week, a month...Almost half a year your sister, Megan Price goes missing. Then the world turns upside down, or maybe-- And nothing's changed? You honestly don't know.
The days are monotonous and empty and the future is clouded with hopelessness. "Who am I?" is the question that keeps popping into your head for hours on end. "Who am I?" a person. "What am I for?" To live. "Who needs me?" I don't know.
It's like a dark abyss, a dragging slime or quicksand that slowly but surely drags you down. You don't feel anything, and you don't know if you've ever felt anything.
Where's mom? Where's your sister?
Nothing again. No information, no word or picture from your father, and only childish resentment.
Kindergarten. Parents pick up their children, hurriedly put on their shoes, and adjust their clothes before leaving. It's evening, but the father is still gone. Anxiously you look out the window, wishing you could see a native silhouette, but nothing but an old crow pecking at the garbage near the tank.
Lonely. Like always.
John forgot to pick you up, or more accurately, he was just with Maggie at her school's Young Poets performance. Omit that the performance ended early, and Price was just taking his daughter and her friends to a coffee shop to celebrate.
It's getting dark, and, the tutor calls Price, who arrives almost immediately. At first, he's embarrassed: gosh, he forgot about his kid! But then he seems to Forget Again, listening with fatherly warmth to Megan's newly composed poems. Sitting in the kitchen, with everyone else, you feel like you're in a family circle, with your own people, not noticing that the eyes are never on you. You babble happily, distracting your sister, "And me! Me too. ". But before you can finish, John says with a smile, "Good for you." You giggle happily in response.
But he didn't hear you.
As you get older, you notice an unfair difference: for some reason, Megan has always been treated a little more reverently. Why was that? The answer is the same. You don't know.
"Do you want a strawberry ice cream?" a gruff, wheezing voice pulls you out of your thoughts. You look up and see Konig standing in front of you, immediately regaining your senses.
"Yes"-you answer briefly, and seemed to fall back into your thoughts, remembering Megan.
"She's fine," Konig brings you to your senses again. He smiles like a serpent, and there is no mask on his face. His face, covered in battle scars is open for all to see, but he doesn't care.
You nod.
Konig was an acquaintance, a friend of Price's, an old-school man with a strong temper and oddities, you thought. A handsome face with strong features, but covered with scars.
When Megan disappeared, Price became completely estranged from you. Desperate, he left the service six months after she went missing, couldn't take it anymore. He was like a robot, perpetually pale and embittered, almost never speaking to you. You often feel the emptiness, wondering involuntarily: what if this is him? When once again your father walks by with glazed eyes, you call out to him, "Father?"
There is no answer.
After about a year, he almost comes around, maybe talks to you more than a couple times a week or, on rare occasions, a day. And then... He just... Notices you?
Returning after school, Price greets you with the table set. He smiles, genuinely talking to you, discussing his day. Everything seems so nice. You eat an entire plate, not immediately noticing the catch. And even noticing it not that day, but towards the end of the week, when your father happily informs you that he has enrolled you in the poets' circle.
Why poets? Oh, yeah. Megan.
He's trying to recreate Megan in you, ignoring the fact that you're a human being too. With your own opinions, desires, morals and dreams. You didn't want to go to medical school just because when Megan wanted you to, you didn't want to go to dances and poetry clubs and perform on stages like she did.
You just want to be yourself.
Megan's gonna come back like thunder in the middle of the day. Just-- Coming home after a damn 1.5 years with no explanation. She smiles adorably as her father kneels like a slug, hugging her as tightly as if she might run away. He sobs, stroking her hands gently. Not that you like being a substitute, but... The slightest bit of attention attracted.
Things get worse, and Price is like a man possessed. He drives Megan every day to the university you're already attending together because John wanted you to follow in your big sister's footsteps. Now he really forgets. He just doesn't see, even worse than when Megan disappeared. In Price's eyes, it's just the image of his oldest daughter, his pride, that's all.
"must it really be lonely?"-The voice rumbles again. You look up. You see Konig again. He's wearing a medical mask. Is he afraid of the coronavirus?
"What?" you ask after a couple seconds.
"Get in the car, I'll give you a ride home." He nods nonchalantly at a maroon car. Definitely not his, but maybe a new purchase? Or not his? Oh, but you don't care, you just hop in his car, not wanting to wait for your dad or the bus. Either way, Price doesn't care when or who you're with.
Which becomes his mistake.
"Where are we going?" you mutter as the car starts to shake over bumps and the woods thicken.
"to your new and loving home, princess."
Konig's plan was perfect from start to finish, until a damn girl got in his way: Megan got caught at the worst possible moment, completely ruining all his blunders.
Then he kidnapped her, finding no other way out of this shitty situation, and locked her in his cozy basement, which was carefully built under his house, enlarged and arranged for you. All to make his Liebe Maus, you, feel herself cozy.
Megan wasn't you, she was noisy, annoying, and that's when Konig changed his plan, day in and day out setting Megan up the way he needed her to be, and when he did, he let Megan go, determined to never, ever expose him. That day she had purposely distracted Price by calling him to a newly opened café so that Price would forget to pick up his second daughter, giving Konig every opportunity.Megan acted to Konig's advantage, and if necessary, she would help confuse everyone so that his sun would never be found.

The Secret of Us and the allegory of the puzzle...
I think one of the major overarching themes in this series is that you cannot force something to fit where it doesn't want to belong. And the only way to 'complete' the picture, ideally, is to patiently allow the pieces to be put together in the way they're supposed to.
I really really want to talk about Lada and how much I resonated with her as a character. In order for me to do that, I have to explain some cultural insights that revolve around Lada's familial structure.
Funnily enough, I was recently discussing certain matrilineal cultures that exist in Thailand and how they perpetuate a lot of bigoted ideals... and that is shown beautifully in Lada's relationship with her parents and how they each react to her queerness. To me, it seemed clear that Lada's parents' marriage was born from matrilocal customs. And unfortunately, that's not really something you would be able to pick up on if you weren't Thai (or natively Asian in general). So... in these types of families, women hold a lot of authority, and that authority is passed on through the female line (which is why daughters are valued over sons). The wife would manage and have the final say regarding household matters, including how the children are raised... and the husband's duty would be to respect his wife. A mother and her daughter maintain a continuous relationship with one another as, should the daughter marry, her husband would come to stay with them until they have a family of their own (and sometimes even after). It's a good way to strengthen matrilineal kinship, but it puts enormous cultural pressure on the daughter who is raised with very high expectations... the most pressuring of which is to marry a man and to have natural born children. Should the daughter not 'fit' this mold, they are often ostracized from the family.
It gives new meaning to hearing Khun Russamee say, "Lada is the seed I've nurtured since birth," doesn't it? It's why she is so against accepting and understanding Lada and Earn's relationship. Because in her mind, there doesn't exist a future where two women can uphold these matrilineal customs... and so the only reason Earn must be pursuing Lada is for some form of exploitation (i.e. money). She justifies her cruel and queerphobic behavior to keep them apart as some form of misaligned protection of her daughter and her daughter's future... to keep her from being taken advantage of and to help her see reason. It doesn't excuse the behavior at all... but at least you can understand the motivation (no matter how terrible). These types of mothers exist in the reality of Thai society... it's not just some cliched villain narrative. I'm speaking from experience here (NOT MY MOM! I LOVE MY MOM... my mother's mother).
In Thailand, we hold strong to the notion of บุญคุณ ('bunkhun'). This notion perpetuates the idea that we owe an endless debt of gratitude to our parents. It's seen as our "moral obligation". (Similar ideas exist in other Asian countries, as well)
Lada has done everything right. She's loved and obeyed her mother, she's cultivated a successful career with intentions to take over from her parents' leadership of the hospital, she's set herself up to be able to support her family's needs... She cannot imagine a life where her mother could ever not support her or her choices. Her one "fault" is that she is in love with a woman and refuses to conform to her mother's insistent heteronormative intentions (I loved the juxtaposition of this against P'Nu's defeated acceptance btw). She's rightfully exhausted from all the pressure to 'fit' her mother's mold of the perfect daughter, and Earn recognizes that.
So when her mother falls ill, and Lada is expected to take responsibility, it makes sense from the perspective of her familial structure. When she sacrifices her happiness for her mother and Earn understands the reasons why... it makes sense. Khun Russamee only comes to believe that Earn truly does love Lada once Earn willingly steps away from their relationship to ease Lada's mother's expectations... it's twisted, but it makes sense. And Khun Russamee does apologize, for whatever the frik that's worth (I can only try so much guys 😞😞😞) It's just part of our ingrained culture to value family despite their abusive behaviors. And as much as I wish that weren't the case, these views remain an actual reality. So, it isn't dishonest to portray them.
...The point is, the final pieces of the puzzle could only come together once they were allowed to. And then we finally got our happy ending!!!
Could certain story elements stand to be improved? Yes... but they're no worse than anything we've seen from BL series. And I do believe as time goes on, with more and more GL content being made, the writing will get better and stronger (I hope 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾).
Despite the more problematic writing, Lingling and Orm were outstanding in their roles. Never have I seen two artists, in all of the Thai QL I've watched, be so in tune to their characters and their emotions. Everything from their dramatic scenes to their more subtle facial expressions were completely on point. It was a pleasure to witness... and the biggest draw for me as a viewer. Well done!!!

rescuing kittens -
pairing: sylus x mc word count: 2,509 summary: While attempting to rescue a poor cat stuck in a tree, MC… also gets herself stuck in the tree. Fortunately, a certain 'Good Samaritan' known for helping strays just happened to be passing by… tags/warnings: lighthearted, slice of life, flirty banter, developing relationship, silly sweet shenanigans in the style of some Tender Moments. a/n: This was my first little lads fic, technically a one-shot that could have a future follow-up but I don't have anything in mind for it atm. Mid-point in the slow burn, definitely before Grassland Romance & Wander in Wonder. P.S. I forbid any use of my writing in any form of generative or AI training.
(ao3 link)
“Sylus!” Against all odds and reason, she couldn’t stop herself from a thrill of excitement and relief seeing that familiar face just happening to pass beneath her on the sidewalk.
An eyebrow arched as he stopped, lifted his sunglasses, and looked up.
“I’ve heard of cats getting stuck in trees, but this seems a little ridiculous, kitten.” The pointed emphasis on the pet name was particularly heavy-handed this time around. She sighed. Yeah, even amidst her relief she’d expected his teasing.
“Yeah, yeah, laugh it up…” she grumbled, awkwardly crouched among the branches of a tree in a street-side park, a tiny tabby tucked in the crook of one arm.
“Care to explain?”
“I… miscalculated.” Her face scrunched up and she hung her head.
She had been sure she could extricate the little critter just fine on her own, but now that she was several feet in the air with the cat in her arms, she had to reconsider. It was behaving well enough, but by the look in its eye and the twitch in its tail, she couldn’t be sure it wouldn’t react unpredictably if she suddenly leapt or otherwise maneuvered down. She didn’t want it to hurt itself because of her.
“I’m not sure this little guy is going to cooperate if I make any sudden movements.”
“That sucks.” He drawled with faux sympathy, replacing his sunglasses and moving to leave. “Well, good luck with that.”
“Wait! Come on! I know you’re not that heartless! Can you really leave a-...” she pursed her lips, swallowed her pride, and then did her best to put the most pathetic pair of puppy eyes on she could muster. “-Two adorable kittens to their sad fate?”
Sylus choked out a single bark of laughter, looking insufferably smug as ever.
“All right, all right.” He shook his head in amusement, taking a few steps closer to position himself beneath her. “But I have one condition.”
“Don’t agree and then tack on favors!” She scolded, and then was painfully, keenly aware she did sound a bit like a hissing cat.
“If a kitten needs saving, shouldn’t it be making cute little sounds so someone will come help it?” He ignored her. And of course he went and said something ridiculous. She felt the corner of her mouth twitch.
Deep down, she was pretty sure he’d help her even if she refused. Or she could even propose a different deal, and in her experience he was typically pretty lenient with her… But in this situation, nothing was coming to mind.
“...Are you sure about that? That’s what you want?” When had she ever ‘meowed’ in her life?
He folded his arms and tilted his head. “What? Is the Kitty Queen incapable of mastering her own native language?”
She sighed and shook her head. “All right, you asked for it…” Clearing her throat, she took in a deep breath through the nose. A meow. A cute, small sound that tugged at the heartstrings.
“Me- meow~!” It started strong! But then her voice cracked and it sounded a bit like she had a hairball stuck in the back of her throat. Or a cat in heat. She clapped her free hand over her mouth in vehement, physical, knee-jerk denial such a sound had left her mouth.
Sylus just laughed, and even as her face burned with embarrassment, she could hear the warmth in it, rather than sounding particularly mean-spirited.
“Oh, that was very cute.” He lifted his arms up. “All right, I’m compelled. Hop down and I’ll catch you.”
She groaned quietly to herself, but took careful hold of the cat in both of her arms. This way she could focus on keeping the cat restrained instead of how best to land.
Funny, actually, the complete faith she had that Sylus wouldn’t let them get hurt. She’d suspected him many times in the past of trying to deceive or otherwise mislead her, but as he said: when he made a promise, he always followed through.
So while she did her best to angle herself towards him, she otherwise didn’t hesitate to take the leap. She was hardly surprised when, in an instant, dark energy wrapped its tendrils around her waist, significantly slowing her fall to almost nothing. Though once she was in reach they dissipated, replaced by his hands on her hips, effortlessly lowering her down to the ground.
For all of her concerns, the cat in her arms didn’t seem to so much as bat an eye. It mewled softly -and unquestionably adorable- as if saying thanks.
“And now the kittens are safely returned to terra firma.” His hands withdrew, but instead he lifted one to pet her hair like one would a cat. “Try not to repeat the same mistake, hm?”
“I don’t see the problem,” she said, brushing his hand off. “You could use all the help you can get stocking up on good deeds to balance your scales.”
He scoffed, and started to say something, but the real cat had expended all of its patience and began twisting and squirming around. Quickly she knelt down to release it, watching as the furry little critter bounded off and disappeared into some bushes.
“Aw… I wonder if it lives around here. It seemed pretty young.”
“Young and feisty. Smart, too.” Sylus mused, his eyes glinting with mirth as he looked at her. “Definitely sounds familiar.”
Denying him for the millionth time seemed pointless. At this juncture she was more or less resigning herself to her fate. There were worse things than being a cat, she supposed.
“Not sure how smart either of us were getting stuck in a tree,” she mumbled, brushing off the fur she’d accumulated on her shirt as she stood up.
“It was smart enough not to scratch the hand that helped it.” He shrugged. She narrowed her eyes at him - and then mimed a scratching gesture, hooking her fingers like claws.
“Just like I haven’t scratched you yet?” Was what he was getting at. He just chuckled, idly rubbing his thumb over the pads of his other fingers.
“I believe the emphasis there is on ‘yet’.”
She recalled that he had a habit of caring for stray cats, though. And a habit of getting scratched to ribbons for his trouble. As well as a habit of never holding a grudge against them…
“It’d be worth it regardless,” he went on to say, tucking his hand in his pocket as his gaze leveled on her. “I got to witness a truly fascinating new side of you.”
Of course he wasn’t going to drop that, was he? She huffed and folded her arms over her chest.
“Being cutesy isn’t exactly my forte. You should be more grateful for the rare opportunity.”
For a second he looked genuinely bewildered, and she didn’t think it was because of the second thing she’d said. But if she’d blinked she would have missed it, because it was quickly replaced by that subtle arch of his brow and less-subtle smirk.
“Oh, I don’t know about that. I find you cute plenty of the time.”
“You have a delightful way of making that sound uncomplimentary.” She could feel her glower deepen - along with the wrinkles between her brow.
“Another astonishing misunderstanding.”
Even if she accepted that he was being honest, she didn’t want to really reconsider what that meant at the moment. Instead she dropped her arms along with her bristly attitude and exhaled, letting ease overtake her. She was truly grateful for his help, after all.
“Anyway, thank you for the assist. It’s still a bit early for you, though, isn’t it?” She cast a brief glance at the sky; the sun would be going down before long, but it was still fairly bright for him to be strolling around Linkon. “I suppose you had business here?”
“I did, but it’s all wrapped up now.”
“I’m sure I’ll be hearing about it on the evening news,” she sighed. But how warped was she becoming by association with him, that there was a tell-tale bit of amusement in her tone she simply could not deny?
She might have still had plenty of reservations about him, but at least in her limited experience, most of his enemies were criminals of the worst caliber. There was no way she could quite define him as a ‘vigilante’, but there had yet to be an instance where she felt the people he dealt with were particularly deserving of pity.
“And what about you? You’re not in your hunters uniform. Are you such an altruist you spend your days off looking for more good deeds to hang on your scales?”
She scoffed and rolled her eyes. “I was just heading out to get an early dinner, when I heard cute little sounds begging for help.”
He didn’t quite laugh, but gave a low, breathy exhale that came close.
“I was also just about to get a bite to eat,” he said, his tone shifting ever-so-slightly. A hint of gentleness crept in through the cracks, a subtle sweetness that never failed to entice her. “Would you care to join me?”
It was a little distressing to realize how quickly she felt inclined to accept his offer. Which felt directly correlative to how much she wanted to spend more time with him. Which was borderline humiliating. The more her heart sang, the more she wanted to shove a pillow over it and press down until it stopped.
She tried to make a show of giving an exasperated huff, but it trembled pathetically on the way out as if betraying her. Still she stuck to her very stubborn guns and said: “You could have used that as your bargaining chip to get me down instead of making me meow.”
“I’ll admit the thought did cross my mind… But that wouldn’t be much better than coercion, now, would it, kitten?”
Her lips tightened into a thin line. “I suppose. Maybe.”
The real question was: Would she have minded? But the fact he cared enough not to use such ‘underhanded’ methods only made her singing heart that much more exuberant.
“What were you thinking? That sandwich shop nearby?” He offered his arm to her not unlike he had at the auction. For a split second she was bewildered by the fact he had psychically divined her destination - then she remembered this was Sylus, and rounded back on the fact he was just cruising ahead again.
“I didn’t even agree to anything.” It sounded like such a pathetically empty resistance. Because it was, and it had been from the moment he asked.
“Maybe not out loud, but… Didn’t you already make up your mind?”
“Aughh…” She hooked her arm around his. She really didn’t have to do that either, did she? And yet he seemed so finely tuned to knowing exactly what she really wanted, deep down.
“Okay, but how did you know about Benny’s?”
“It was just a guess. You like sandwiches,” he said as matter-of-factly as if it were common knowledge, “and when I looked earlier, the ratings I saw would suggest it’s the only place in this area that would make it worth coming this far from your apartment.”
Yeah, that level of calculation sounded like him. Well, she knew a thing or two about him, too!
“Sounds like you’ve never been there, then. Their slow-cooker French dip is one of my go-to’s, I think it’d be right up your alley.” She said with no lack of confidence, enthusiasm beginning to bubble over. “But they’ve got their seasonal apple cider pulled pork right now I’m dying to check out.”
“Hmm, those do sound good,” he nodded, shooting her a grin. “Should we go splitsies?”
She snorted and laughed, hearing him say things like that always caught her off-guard in the best way, and he seemed to know it.
“I thought you didn’t like to share. I seem to remember a greedy crow who complained whenever I tried his food before.”
“There’s a key difference between sharing and stealing.”
She couldn’t stop herself from a mischievous little giggle remembering the look on his face when he’d gone for his last dumpling and found it mysteriously vanished.
He leaned towards her a little, lowering his voice, his breath brushing her ear. “But I suppose… we don’t need to worry about such distinctions between us anymore.”
Rather than bend away, she turned her face towards him, drinking in his closeness. “How benevolent of you.”
He laughed and straightened up, and she tried not to be too disappointed.
“You’re the only one who would say that about me.”
“I’m just calling it like I see it.” She shrugged one shoulder. “But I’m fine being the primary recipient of your benevolence, too.” Grinning up at him, she lifted her free hand to poke his cheek. “Especially if that means I can rope you into a few good deeds here and there.”
He gave her a brief glare for the poke, but it was almost hilariously short lived and as paper thin as her resistance earlier had been. How was she supposed to just ignore that?
“So that’s your angle? Course correcting me onto the straight and narrow?”
“Hmm…” Considering it briefly, she probably would have said yes before. But now? It was less about that than she found herself worrying for his safety. “I think I’d be happier if you maybe had fewer people trying to kill you at any given time.”
“That would be quite the list… And who was it that once sat at the top of it, I wonder?” He flashed a ruthless grin. Her expression immediately soured as she nudged her shoulder into him.
“Are you ever going to drop that?”
“Well, I still haven’t heard a sincere apology, sweetie.”
“And now definitely isn’t the time for it, either.” She mumbled, feeling the heat of embarrassment along her cheeks and the tops of her ears. Still she gave her all in shifting the subject by making a sweeping gesture of her free hand to the building in front of them, cheering enthusiastically. “Because we have arrived! Time to eat!”
“Haha, how convenient for you. All right, then.”
Benevolent once again, he did indeed drop it as they made their way into the restaurant. But he wasn’t wrong, and she knew it. For something like that though, all of the rage, hatred, and vengeance she’d pinned on him… A simple apology wouldn’t do.
She was going to have to think of something, some way she could truly show how sincere she was, and paying for sandwiches wasn’t going to cut it. In truth, she didn’t think he cared much about whether she went to extreme lengths, but the real guilt she felt over it wouldn’t be assuaged by half-hearted measures. She needed to really think of how she could make it up to him, even if he didn’t truly seem to hold any grudge against her - like all the strays that had lashed out at him before.

Noa and the Beast
Apes and humans lived in peace for more than half a century, the war only brought internal conflicts between the sides and although peace was the later consequence, they finally lived together and peacefully.
But it was still not well seen that humans and apes had relationships, each one lived in their area, both separated by borders and policies.
Noa son of the leader of the eagle clan. And Mae daughter of an important senator. Ape and human had set their eyes on each other, unable to ignore the other's presence when they saw each other. The tension between the two ends in a nighttime escapade with consequences for the future.

• No words [One shot]
Mae didn't like participating in her father's political campaigns. More than anything because she always ended up in the middle, like a piece of meat.
She was just grateful that her father always defended her and never left her hanging, but the suitors always surrounded her, eager to get close to the senator's daughter from the southern zone.
That first day, she had to accompany her father to a dinner with the Eagle Clan. A friendly clan that always worked alongside humans.
Mae sat quietly in her seat, trying not to draw attention to herself. She didn't have the same tension as with other human politicians who tried to pair her up with one of their sons at every opportunity.
No, there she only observed Noa, the son of the Eagle Clan's leader. He also looked back at her.
They didn't need many words; they never did. Whenever they saw each other, their relationship was one of glances, smiles, and even touches.
Mae didn't know if Noa caught her attention because he was different from the others or because he was the only one his father didn't try to pair her up with.
That was simple. Neither the senator nor the clan leader understood that humans and apes could have a relationship beyond politics. For both humans and apes parents, humans and apes could coexist with boundaries and each in their own place.
None of them realized that their children understood that humans and apes could have a much more... intimate relationship.
That dinner passed quietly. Except for a surprise at the moment of saying goodbye. Noa this time bid her farewell with a hug.
No one seemed to pay attention, and if they did, they didn't say anything. Nor did it interest either of them. Mae was too comfortable in his arms, and Noa was too busy feeling the small, soft, peculiarly scented human in his arms.
When they separated, their eyes met again. Neither of them knew why their bodies reacted so intensely.
They didn't need words.
________-------------------_________
That night, Mae went out of her hotel room for a walk. She was sure the place was quiet and guarded, since politicians and leaders from all states had gathered there.
She was sure, yes. But she got a little scared when she heard footsteps behind her.
"What are you doing alone at night here?"
It almost cost her to recognize that voice. When she turned her head to see the ape standing beside her, she sighed in relief.
"I was taking a walk."
"You can't go out at night without company. You know there are apes who still have trouble coexisting with you humans."
Mae let out a laugh.
"Well, for that, there are apes like you who feel very comfortable with humans, and even dare to hug them in front of everyone."
The human couldn't appreciate the blush that appeared on the ape's cheeks.
"Not only do I feel comfortable. I like humans."
"What? Is it a fetish of yours? Having them all at your feet? Am I just one more?"
Noa stopped, making her stop too.
"You're the only one."
Now it was her turn to blush. But this time, Noa could see her, because the moonlight reflected off her face and eyes.
Mae coughed a little, turning her head to the right, unable to bear his gaze.
Many times they had looked into each other's eyes, smiled, touched, and hugged, but never had Noa's eyes shone like that.
"Am I the only one?"
Noa's voice brought her back to reality.
"What do you mean, the only one?"
Noa took her hand, leading her to a more secluded spot.
If someone saw them together, they might think the worst. Noa leading her by the hand in the darkness of the night towards an empty corner of the hotel building.
Once Noa found the perfect spot, he leaned her against the wall and pressed his body against hers.
Mae could feel the strong, muscular ape body against hers.
He went back to hugging her, bringing their faces very close together.
"The only one you feel like this."
Noa kissed her ear and neck.
"Noa."
"What do you mean Noa?"
Mae felt stupid. Of course, she felt the same way. But there were too many obstacles between them.
"This is wrong."
"Does it feel wrong?"
Of course, Mae didn't respond.
Noa was attacking her weak points, kissing her neck and, in a moment when Mae wasn't paying attention, had slipped a hand into her underwear to touch her most intimate parts with curiosity and passion.
Now it was Mae's turn to protest for the ape to touch her the way she wanted.
"Shh." Noa whispered. "We might be overheard."
Without making her wait too long, the simian's long fingers began to caress her clitoris. The other hand went to her buttocks to help her stay just as he wanted. His mouth continued with what he had left pending, mimicking the human's breasts with kisses, licks, and nibbles.
"Noa, please."
Mae felt too close to climax. Her legs trembled, and her lower abdomen electrified with the energy that coursed from her clitoris to her head. Noa's fingers moved faster, like a cable that made the energy pass through him to her.
"Noa!"
Mae came with that cry, clinging to the ape's shoulders, unable to achieve her goal, and ended up sitting astride him.
Her breasts still rose and fell, struggling to breathe normally.
Their eyes met, and they maintained silence, gazing at each other.
Noa raised a hand to the girl's cheek, brushing away a strand of hair that had fallen forward, and left his hand there to continue caressing her.
Mae sighed.
"Did you like it?"
Noa asked uncertainly.
Mae laughed.
"Are you asking me that after I just came on top of you after giving me an orgasm?"
"An orgasm? Is that what you humans call it?"
"What? And what do you apes call it?"
"We don't call it. Females rarely have ongasms."
"Orgasms." -Mae corrected, laughing.-
"Whatever. Males usually care more about reproducing than about the female's pleasure."
"Seeing it that way, humans are very similar to apes." -Mae realized something before continuing.- "But then, how did you know how to touch me like that?"
Now it was Noa who looked away, embarrassed.
"It doesn't matter."
"Yes, it does!" -Mae insisted.-
"And I... I saw some material before I met you."
Mae was very confused by the two confessions.
"Why did you care so much about me?" -the human stopped.- "What material!?"
"Because I like you. I thought it was obvious." -Noa responded in order to her questions.- "And material... visual."
"Have you seen porn?"
"Is that what it's called?"
Mae didn't know what was the strangest of all. That Noa seemed so innocent after touching her in a not-so-innocent way, that apes didn't have terms like orgasm or porn, or that Noa had seen porn to know how to please her.
Mae burst out laughing.
"Mae!" -with one hand, Noa tried to silence her.- "Seriously, we might be overheard."
"I don't know why you thought you needed to please me like that before, like, talking to me or asking me out on a date and eating ice cream."
"What's ice cream?"
"What?"
Noa silenced her again with his hand.
"Don't you know what ice cream is?"
Mae asked in a lower tone, and he shook his head.
"We need to fix that."
Mae got up quickly.
"Wait, Mae." -Noa held her hand.- "You haven't answered me."
"What?" -the human realized.- "Oh, yes, I also like you. I thought it was obvious." -she imitated the simian's words.-
"I'm going to ask your father for your hand!"
"What?"
Noa seemed very sure. He got up and was determined to seek out the senator.
"No, wait Noa." -Mae stopped him.- "We need to think this through calmly. We don't know how they'll react."
The ape shook his head.
"I don't care. I only want you."
Mae blushed and looked away, remembering something.
"Noa." -she stopped him again.- "But how are you going to go like that?"
The human pointed to the ape's large erection. Because they were used to not wearing clothes, she could see it clearly in the moonlight. Long, erect, almost covered with hair. And Mae wondered how it would feel in her hands or inside her. If it would be soft and hard at the same time.
Noa, who had also looked down, turned away, embarrassed.
"You're right. Maybe it's not the best moment."
"You don't have to be embarrassed! On the contrary, I owe you an orgasm."
"No, we can't do anything, I don't want to do it inside you without engagement."
Mae was surprised by his response. The way he cared for her, not just physically but also her honor. For humans, physical contact went beyond just hugs, many reached marriage with three or four lovers, and women didn't wait for marriage either.
Those traditions of loyalty, fidelity, and union concept were something to envy. Apes might not marry for passion or taste, but for a bond much more important than the physical.
And Noa wanted to share that with her. It reminded the human that they did it because the ape believed she liked it. And of course, she did, and his erection showed that he liked it too.
But Mae wasn't going to rush things just for a fling when what Noa offered was indescribable in human words.
"We don't have to do anything." -Mae began, trying to speak softly.- "I could help you without penetrating me, but we can wait for that."
Noa remained silent. He looked at her fixedly and turned his body, letting her see his powerful erection again.
"Mae." -Noa approached her, taking her hands.- "Help me, please."
The power she felt inside her in that moment made the human move without control.
Mae moved her hands down, caressing his chest and grabbing the large penis with both hands when she reached her destination.
Noa followed her gaze, sighing, and Mae shook her head.
"No, look at me."
Noa obeyed, and Mae wrapped her hand around his virility and began to move it up and down while the other carefully caressed the tip from which a liquid was already coming out, wetting her hand and showing her how much the ape liked her touch.
"Mae." -Noa whispered without taking his eyes off her.-
Both remained standing, looking at each other fixedly.
When Mae noticed Noa's restless body, she moved her hands faster, holding onto his phallus more tightly.
"I'm going to... Mae!"
Then Noa closed his eyes and a hot jet of liquid hit the human in her exposed belly.
Noa hugged her tightly while trying to recover his breath.
"Shh, they're going to hear us. Noa." -Mae whispered to the ape, mocking all the times he had told her that.-
The ape laughed between his teeth.
"Mae." -then they looked at each other again in the eyes.- "Thank you."
The human squinted her eyes, unsure why he was thanking her.
Before she could ask, a light pointed at them, startling them.
"What are you doing there?"
The voice of the ape who had found them startled them. Mae with her shirt up, pants down, and underwear wet due to her orgasm but also because of Noa's, which had ended up falling there. And Noa, who still showed enthusiasm in his gaze.
Even so, the ape placed himself in front of the human, covering her nudity towards the other ape.
Second part.

WHEN SHE FLIRTS...
Lo'ak:
"Give me something to eat..." he says with his mouth full of food, barely able to squeeze out the words. Because his girlfriend decided to flirt again. As usual.
"Do you know what the difference is between you and the stars?" the girl asked rhetorically. The guy, waiting for another phrase to get acquainted, sighed heavily, nodding as a sign of "what?".
"The stars only shine at night, and you always..." , Lo'ak laughed loudly, and the remains of the food flew out of his mouth. Each time, like the first time, it embarrasses and amuses him at the same time, and, of course, he does not forget to answer with the same phrases.
Spider:
"Oh, Eywa..." he turns away from you, embarrassed. " That's too [your name]..." he whispered softly, turning back to her. The young man is raging hormones from puberty, and here you are. If before, when he was younger, he didn't pay attention to it, now he understands it. And every time he smiles like an idiot in his opinion, but in reality his smile is brighter than the sun.
After telling him about it, he sheepishly jumped off the mountain away from you... Don't worry, he landed safely on the ground. He is a strong man.
Neteyam:
"Hey angel, did it hurt when you fell from heaven to earth?" ,[Your name] asked with incense. "Let's just say..." Neteyam crouched down in front of the girl, his eyes never leaving her face, and before she could respond, he grabbed her face with his huge hands.
"You're so adorable." He squeezed her cheek with his fingers, pulling it to the side. He can't help but tell you at times like these how adorable and sweet she is. And when you flirt, he just laughs sweetly and thanks you.
Ao'nung:
"Why is the water in all seas salty, do you know?" - the girl smiled, raised her eyebrows and played with them. The Na'vi sighed irritably.
"Well?" - he had no desire to listen to what she was going to tell him, since he himself knew the reason for the saltiness of the sea.
"I salted it for you, because you are too sweet..." - it seemed like several minutes of silence passed, and the guy was silent and did not react to her words. The future chief smiled broadly and beckoned with his finger to himself.
"Come here," - the native asked as if ordering. When the girl was already standing in front of him, he put a large and heavy hand on the top of her head.
"Are you trying to win my favor? Or my heart?" - the guy's charming voice made you hold your breath and sharpen your hearing to better hear his melodic notes in his voice. You were caught off guard.

This is request is a inspiration of a manga that i really like called "Gachiakuta"
Zaun characters with a fem s/o that can turn trash into weapons
And i meant that if she touches the trash (or broken things in general) this thing instantly transforms into a weapon
(Sorry for the bad english, it's not my native language)
Greetings anon thank you for the request, and don't worry, your English is fine. I quite enjoy this request, I hope this post at least relates a little bit to the manga you read (regarding reader).
Trashy Weapons...Or is it?
Fem reader (can be read as gn)
Post type: headcanons
Characters' relashionship with reader: romantic (can be plotonic)
Masterlist

Jinx:
When Jinx found out about your power, she thought it was the most badass thing ever.
It happened when the two of you were walking, and somebody sneak attacked you two and took Jinx's gun.
Sadly, Jinx used all of her choppers recently and had none of her others on her.
But before Jinx could react, you quickly shot the perpetrators.
But... you did not have a gun.
Jinx was confused.
But before she could ask, you grabbed her hand to force her to run in case the perpetrators had accomplices.
Once the two of you got to the hideout, Jinx just had to ask what happened.
Once she asked where the hell you got the gun, you decided to tell her about your power.
She was shocked, but she thought your power was the coolest thing ever.
Odd.
But awesome.
She definitely wants you to use it in the future.
(Also, you got her gun back after shooting the perpetrators)

Vi:
The moment you used your powers was when some weirdo tried to beat Vi up for making him lose in one of the pit fights she did a few months ago before she stopped.
Now, normally Vi could take him on, but the only problem was that he brought his whole gang with.
And Vi did not have her gunleats with her.
But before she tried to do anything, you were quick to shoot them... with guns you never had or was near by.
Before Vi questioned it, you quickly took her hand and ran to your apartment.
Once you got there and caught your breath, you took a seat on your couch as Vi walked up to you and asked if you had a secret pocket of the sort so she could know where you got the random weapon.
You told her it was a power of yours.
She did not really question it, knowing it's probably too complicated for her to understand.

Silco:
He found out about your powers when he saw you fiddling with some sort of trash at one of the tables in the last drop when it was closed.
"What exactly has you sitting here, fiddling... with this... rubbish?"
You tried to think on what to tell him, or if you should even tell him of your power
You decided you should
He was surprised, to the point you could see it on his face
He asked about you having to uphold magic or even be connected to the arcane, or you being related to a witch
You were quick to put it down.
You explained that you randomly got the ability as a kid when you had to defend yourself.
Silco seemed to then accept it after you explained

Any links that are needed will be added soon

How would the gang react if you reveal ur a time traveler
Okily dokily!!!!
HOW EACH RDR2 GNG MEMBER WOULD REACT TO YOU BEING A TIME-TRAVELER (MY OPINION)
This is VERY vague. So I'm going to imagine this scenario you're from 1920 USA with lots of inside info on the vld gang cuz theres more I can do w that lol, and a person similar to John in terms of age/likeness/physicality. Imagine this is aprx chap 2.
Arthur - probably not have many questions really, just ask you why you'd come to this time of all times (he thinks you're stupid)
Hosea - only asks if John finally left with his family, and if everything actually does fall to bits. Doesn't really care for asking how he dies himself - In fact he doesn't want you to tell him
Dutch - Immediately asks if he dies for an ideal, or if he becomes someone of great reverence post mortem. When he doesn't like the answer he says he can't be kept by the lines society has decided for him so will disobey and flee "like Cain was once he was shun"
Reverend - says you're either deep in substances or have demons in you. Insists you must be a satanic lunatic and leaves with his head up. Later drunk he reveals he worries you're real and asks if God ever gives him a chance
Pearson - "heh...lemme guess...I'm in the books..ain't I?" "Ok you're lying though"
Sadie - asks when she will die and see Jake, and (if before this) asks if she gets to avenge his death
Charles - questions only on the land, and if the colonists finally destroy all of it by then, and on behalf of the natives. Otherwise tells you he's not interested in what will be otherwise
Micah - knows he's in the history books, so just walks off trying to be nonchalant. "Then I guess you know who I am.." (hes really close and breathing quite loudly)
Abigail - forgets herself to bombard you with questions about Jack and John, if they ever move away, if Jack grows up proper and they live till old. She starts sobbing after
Jack (1907) - wants to know if he becomes a writer, then whilst embarrassed quietly asks if his Father stays for real this time. Later tells you about a book he read with a similar premise. Your answer makes him quiet and hee doesnt speak for a while
John - Can't even think of what to ask, so just says like "ok- do-" then says he'll get back to you when he has something good to ask. Later: "wait-wait I got a good one... (some stupid question about future inventions)"
Trelawny - "I am a magician, too! I suppose we are both similar as such.." however he gets too freaked out and goes back to his family for a while
Javier - IMMEDIATELY only wants to know about the Mexican Revolution; was it successful? Did his family live? Does he return to Mexico? He refuses to believe your answer about him in Mexico in 1911 working for the government, insisting he would never pick that over his own life. Refuses to believe John would be the one to kill him, too. Angrily storms off after threatening you if you spit lies like that again (even if you proved to him ur fr)
Bill - gets scared of you thinking you have some other powers too, but then tries to toughen up and look unafraid. Demands, asks to know if becomes respected and feared in the future. Air punches when he hears he runs his own gang, then just looks straight up HURT hearing John kills him (trying to mask it) "But why wouldn't we be friends?"
Uncle - "you should be well aware then...of when the Lumbago gets to me.. where in the history books is that?"
Molly - quietly asks if everyone grows to like her (very embarrassed). She gets silent after your answer and goes to sit far away in camp for a while. Dutch later says to you that "you better not have put her in some mood"
Karen - says shes too sober for this, promptly grabs a drink and tells you she doesn't have anything to ask, but wishes she did. Avoids you afterwards fearing she was too open with you then.
Tilly - asks if she has a run-in with the foreman boys again. Otherwise then that she asks what cool things have been invented since
Mary-Beth - fascinated by future books, and asks if you have a novel from the future you could show her. She doesn't believe she could ever be a writer so doesn't ask.
Grimshaw - thinks you're a freak for coming here, saying "we are doing just fine! She does inquire about her girls though, if they all do well. She grows very strict with Karen there on, but also nicer
Sean - "do I become the big dog of the camp? Replace ol' king Arthur? Hahaha" a string of random questions , giving you no time to answer each one. He actually walks off before you can answer them thinking of more questions
Lenny - starts thinking if its okay to know about the future before responding, if theres no consequences, or if we as people should be able to. Decides he's better safe then sorry, and asks camp to be responsible. Dutch and him debate this
Kieran - asks if they finally accept him, and if the O'Driscolls come back. Grows very anxious at your response and spends the day cleaning the horses whilst trying to gather his thoughts to act upon.

You ever hear about those rumors of the Legion of Super-Heroes? Apparently, every now and then Superman likes to go 1000 years in the future to hang out with some alien heroes. You think it has any merit, or is it just a load of nonsense?
Yep, that's real.
(An image of Superman and this "Legion of Superheroes", Daily Planet) Of course our knowledge ABOUT these heroes in particular is limited to say the least. This is the clearest image by far we've gotten of most or all of them. It is unknown if this is their membership in its entirety, if other heroes who appeared and then vanished in Superman's orbits are members, or even if all people shown in this photograph are actual members of the Legion. I'll tell you what we DO know, from various sources but the most trusted of them is of course what Superman himself and the Justice League have said about these heroes from the far future. They are from what we would call the 31st century, that is around the year 3000, 1000 years from our present time. Their chronology seems to have shifted at some point into the use of a new calendar not based around Earth's seasons but what small fragments we've gotten from overhearing them have baffled mathematicians and astronomers alike as to what that new scale might be. Most of their membership is made up of teenagers and young adults. Why this is the case or if their time is somehow lacking in adult superheroes is unknown.
They act on official sanction in both space and time with authority vested in them by an organization called the "United Planets". One can draw all sorts of conclusions from that name alone. I choose to imagine Star Trek because I'm optimistic at heart. A large chunk if not most of their membership is made up of what we would call aliens but that definition seems to have shifted in their time. Namely that most members of the Legion, owing to the fact that they all mostly hail from this "United Planets" consider themselves the same nationality if not always the same ethnicity, a reporter seems to have tripped some kind of cultural nerve by referring to one of the Legion's more visually striking members as an "alien" to which his teammates reacted with offense, as if referring to their comrade as an "alien" was somehow implying an otherness to him, akin to calling someone of a separate ethnic group "Unamerican" which implies a couple of things about their cultural history. And the fact that humanity seems to have native populations on many planets outside Earth by the time period they come from only further complicates matters, meaning that two "Legionnaires" (Their term for themselves) who look identically "human" might be from totally different planets with different cultural details while a "human" Legionnaire and a more alien seeming one might be from the same planet and be much closer to one another in general bearing. It speaks to a VERY multicultural and mosaic kind of future for mankind where the idea of what being "human" means is totally divorced from our outward mannerisms and even basic biology. And I think that's real cool.
